About me

I've read a lot of resumes. I'd rather help you write yours.

What I actually do

I help people find work that fits them. Sometimes that means a whole new direction. Sometimes it means the same field, told properly, and a resume that finally gets a reply. We start with where you are, not with where a template says you should be.

Where I come from

I spent ten years recruiting in hi-tech, hiring across a wide range of roles - engineering, product, data, operations, support, sales. I have a BA in psychology and an MA in organizational psychology, plus a coaching certificate. I also work as a rehabilitation counselor with the Ministry of Health, supporting people with disabilities back into working life.

That mix matters. The recruiting years taught me what actually moves a hiring decision. The psychology taught me why people freeze, undersell themselves, or stay somewhere that's hurting them. The rehabilitation work taught me to build a plan around a real person with real limits, not an ideal one.

How I see this work

A job isn't just income. It shapes your days, your health, and how you think about yourself. So when someone is stuck, it's rarely only a resume problem, and I'd rather deal with the whole picture than hand you a nicer PDF.

I'm direct. I'll tell you when something on your resume isn't working, and I'll tell you when a plan you have is unrealistic. I'll also tell you when you're much closer than you think, which happens more often.

What working with me is like

  • Structured

Each session has a point. You leave knowing what you're doing before the next one.

  • Honest

I won't tell you your resume is great when it isn't. Kindly, but plainly.

  • From inside hiring

Advice grounded in how hiring decisions actually get made, not in generic career blogs.

  • Practical

Real wording, real applications, real practice out loud. Not just insight.

  • Yours

I'm not here to hand you my answer. I'm here to help you reach your own and act on it.
